Where we are
The NFTA Transit Police Department is headquartered on Main Street in Buffalo, across the street from the NFTA’s Utica subway train station. The Aviation Division has a Transit Police station on Aero Drive near the Buffalo Airport. Officers are stationed inside the airport and at a sub police station at the Metropolitan Transit Center at 181 Ellicott Street in Buffalo. Our mission is to keep our transit community safe throughout Erie and Niagara Counties.

Your Safety
Your safety is our top priority. The NFTA Transit Police Department works 24/7/365 to keep our community safe, however we encourage our riders to download the free “See Something Say Something” app to report any suspicious activity.
