Filming at NFTA properties

Major motion pictures, television productions, music videos, commercials, student projects in Buffalo…The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority oversees 64 separate properties across Western New York, including two airports, a bus and rail system, and several large, general use structures. The organization is primarily devoted to moving people into, out of, and around this region. It is also dedicated to the economic vibrancy and the continued positive image of the area, so the Authority does its best to accommodate artistic production whenever and wherever it can. 

Procedure

There are certain requirements that include insurance and possible fees depending on the film shoot. Given the size and complexity of your project, it can take up to a month to finalize everything.

• Warehouse / Manufacturing Facility – next to the Buffalo Niagara Airport at 485 Cayuga Road, Cheektowaga NY.
• Niagara Falls International Airport
• Metro Bus – three garages
• Metro Rail – DL&W Train Yard, six aboveground stations, eight underground stations
