NFTA Police Seeking Public Help Identifiying Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run

The black Nissan Pathfinder identified in the hit-and-run.

The NFTA Transit Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run accident that involved a pedestrian on airport property at approximately 4:55 am on February 27, 2024. The victim, a 44-year-old male resident of Williamsville, was struck while on Luiz F. Kahl Way, which is the airport access road located across from the McDonald's restaurant. He was transported to ECMC in serious condition.

The NFTA Police Department is asking the public to come forward with any information that may assist them in locating the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run accident. The vehicle is described as a black Nissan Pathfinder, of a newer model (2022-2024). It has sustained moderate front-end damage and is missing the Nissan emblem from its front grill.

If you have any information that may lead to the identification of the vehicle in question, please contact the NFTA Transit Police Department at 716-630-6150.
