Fiber Optic space available
ABOUT
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (N.F.T.A.) located in Erie and Niagara County, New York, is seeking offers from telecommunication providers interested in entering into a fiber optic Conduit System and Right of Way Occupancy Agreement for space located along Buffalo’s Main Street light rail rapid transit tunnel.
- The agreement will grant the installment, maintenance, and use of a fiber optic cable within an innerduct conduit running along the Main Street light rail rapid transit tunnel (LRRT)
- The fiber optic conduit length along Main Street between North St and S. Park Avenue is 10,369 linear feet.
- The fiber optic conduit length along eagle street between main and oak street is 1,073 linear feet for a total of 11,442 linear feet.
TERMS
- Proposals to be submitted for a minimum term of ten (10) years with two (2) ten-year extensions.
- The minimum asking price is $9.78 per linear foot for access and use of the Main Street LRRT System.
All submissions are due no later than April 16, 2024
